Our client is a leading Australian linehaul provider, renowned for delivering professional, efficient, and reliable freight and transport solutions nationwide.

They are seeking a highly organised and proactive Nightwatch Driver Debriefer to manage our critical after-hours operations. This is an essential coordination role, in maintaining smooth work flow throughout the night, ensuring safety, security, and communication between drivers, customers, and management.

This is a full time position, Sunday night to Thursday night 9pm to 4am

Key Responsibilities

• Fleet & Driver Monitoring: Act as the primary contact for drivers. Track all fleet movements, manage daily ETA spreadsheets, and debrief drivers on their run progress and challenges.
• Customer Updates: Proactively communicate with customers to provide real-time updates and handle urgent after-hours requirements.
• Operational Coordination: Manage the movement and allocation of "dog run" trailers and drivers in Perth, a crucial task for preparing road trains.
• Incident Management: Respond to and coordinate solutions for operational issues or breakdowns, escalating critical problems to management.
• Administrative & Handover: Maintain accurate records of all incidents and communications, ensuring a seamless, detailed handover to the day operations team.

What We Need

• Proven background in a transport, logistics, or operations environment.
• Forward-thinking problem-solver with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• High proficiency with emails and spreadsheets.
• Excellent communication skills for driver and customer liaison.

Training will be provided to ensure success in this vital night-shift role.
